How do you like Baltimore?

When I first moved to Bโ€™more in the mid-90โ€™s it was around the time Cal Ripken was setting the record for most consecutive games played and my territory included the Eastern Shore of MD and Baltimore City. What a great time to be introduced to the area and to do what we called: S.T.P or see the people. There was a buzz of excitement and energy, people seemed more friendly than ever.ย  Ocean City, MD in the winter had little to offer other than opportunities to get to know your local customer โ€“ which turned out to be great experience. ย

The Baltimore area is still a great place with great people. Like many places now, you might have to work a little harder to connect with people but it’s very much worth it. Thereโ€™s so much diversity in such a small space. You can still visit shops in neighborhoods like Hamden and take in some local culture. You can still easily access the mountains out West, the rolling horse country in North Baltimore County or any of the parks and reservoirs that offer hiking, top-shelf cross country mountain biking and even in some spots allow paddle boarding. You can even cross-country ski on one of the public golf courses! Check out www.traverstravels.com if you liked to know more about the outdoor adventures this area offers.

Baltimore is a great place to take your team for an off-site or end-of year planning session. As the bumper sticker says: โ€œBaltimore: actually I like it.โ€
